Hiding places

"Levi, you just get right in there," whispered Jacob. "Just sit down and be quiet, and I'll come find you."

Enter Mom.

"Jacob," I asked, "why is Levi in the cabinet?"

"He's hiding, Mommy," he answered, in that matter-of-fact way that makes me think he wonders how I can be so dumb sometimes. "We're playing hide and seek."
